Tipperary Energy Agency is a social enterprise and our work is funded through the provision of innovative engineering services, education and advice. We work with Tipperary County Council, Public bodies, Communities and SME's on decarbonisation strategies and projects.

Technological University of the Shannon

Midlands Midwest (TUS) is a multi-campus university with over 14,500 students, spread across six colleges throughout Ireland's Midwest and Midlands region established on 1 October, 2021. TUS has a world leading research infrastructure which inspires and enables transformative research.

Vivid Edge Limited

Vivid Edge uses its energy efficiency and funding expertise to access specialist green funds and deploy an "energy efficiency as a service" model to facilitate the acceleration of decarbonisation and energy efficiency plans of large energy users. The company assesses energy savings, performs financial analysis, supports energy teams to build and communicate board-ready business cases, and coaches customers in making projects investable, and brings capital markets funding to projects.

TRESS will create a prioritisation framework for retrofitting buildings in the region, taking into account carbon reduction and energy efficiency targets and complete investment grade audits of 25 buildings in the region including a financing and procurement strategy, taking into account both self-financed, public and private financing options. The project team will create a suite of best practice guidelines and capacity building for delivering and financing the retrofit of public buildings at scale.
