An energy efficiency upgrade has many benefits. It can reduce your energy consumption in a meaningful way, saving you energy and costs while helping the planet. We deliver a full turnkey energy efficiency upgrade, retrofitting your buildings and processes with new efficient equipment such as LED lighting, HVAC* upgrades, heat pumps, roof-mounted solar, and more. We take full project and performance risk, charging you a monthly service fee once the equipment is installed and benefits commence. The energy savings can fully fund your upgrade, so you save from day one.

In office and retail buildings large energy users are typically heating and cooling systems. Customers are modernising with some installing heat pumps, and others upgrading chillers, boilers, and distribution systems. LED lighting can deliver substantial savings, even by migrating from first- to second-generation LEDs. Solar PV is in high demand and the economics are more attractive than ever due to the rising cost of energy. EV charges, battery storage, control systems and a range of other measures can be included.
In processing facilities, we can support projects such as lighting, conveyance and distribution systems and waste heat recovery solutions. Overall, we cover a comprehensive range of measures tailored to suit each facility.

Yes, we can work will work with you to find the optimum equipment brands and providers to suit your needs. We can work with suppliers of your choice, or we can help identify appropriate providers.

We select high calibre equipment brands from trusted suppliers and guarantee equipment performance. We ensure equipment is maintained to a high standard so that the performance and associated savings are sustained.
No. In our experience the shared savings model is costly to implement and results in a higher portion of savings going to the provider.
The ultimate savings arise from equipment performance (which we do guarantee) and also how you use the asset and hours of operation (this is in your control). Our fixed fee model is simpler and less costly. Furthermore, the fixed fee approach incentivises you to pursue further behavioural efficiencies, since you retain 100% of the incremental savings.
Maintenance is included as standard. There is an option for maintenance to be done by your in-house maintenance team or preferred provider, once it is conducted to an appropriate standard in accordance with manufacturer recommendations.
Typically, 7 to 10 years, but each contract is considered on its own merits and longer or shorter contracts are feasible, depending on the project.
Vivid Edge can provide for a secondary term or a transfer of the asset to our customer.
We can work with a tenant once the remaining lease term is of a suitable length to cover our service contract.
Our primary markets are Europe and the Middle East. We can support projects in most OECD countries, and deliver in euro, sterling and US Dollar.
Payment and savings
We will develop a full carbon and energy cost saving business case for you at the outset.
Our standard energy efficiency as a service offering involves no upfront cost. We pay 100% of the fully installed project cost. Once fully commissioned our customers pay a fixed monthly service fee.
The monthly service charge varies by project. In most cases the customer monthly savings are greater than the service charge.
Other delivery models
Yes, as well as offering this service model, Vivid Edge can support other payment structures including capital contribution and PPAs (Power Purchase Agreements, Vivid Edge has an alternative approach to these).
